First and foremost we evaluate all facets of a concept and begin brainstorming sessions to identify the most successful path for your product.
Marketing inputs are crucial in this initial stage to maximise the final products’ success. We will learn about your product’s existing market, immediate presence and foreseeable future. This is also the stage at which we investigate selling price and potential sales volumes in order to ascertain the viability of the project BEFORE you have invested in its development.
We look to diagnose problems before they happen and map out the project so that everyone involved can see the big picture. Electrical safety and other regulatory requirements are analysed ahead of time, so that the final product passes the various tests and certifications that will be required before sale.
Only after these steps have been undertaken do we give the new project the green light to go ahead.

Once we’ve identified what is needed, we go about piecing together the plan of how we’re going to make it happen. From branding to component sourcing and engineering, we create a solid plan for your product’s success. Do you want a custom moulded enclosure, or will the low set-up cost and speed to market of an off-the-shelf enclosure appeal to you? Does your product require bespoke engineered components ? What accessories will be required as part of the final kit?
At Avant Technik, we don’t just design products that fulfill a task - we create items that incite desire in your potential customers. We do this by making the product to fit the user and design a plan to illustrate why they need your concept and products in their lives.
We continue to frequently interface with you during this process to ensure you’re a part of any decision making and to keep you in the loop about the progress of prototyping. Modern 3D design and prototyping techniques enable you to visualise and experience a live sample of your new product very early in the design process.

Once prototypes have been constructed, they are rigorously tested to ensure they operate according to specification. Extreme conditions are applied in testing to guarantee your product will continue to perform at an optimum level at all times. In this stage, we also finalise all of the design and manufacturing documentation required for building the final product.
To maximise testing outcomes Beta testing samples may be sent to end users to confirm that the final product suits the market requirements. This is the stage at which the design can be modified and improved as needed.
When the product design is finalised, Avant Technik can arrange for all compliance testing for EMC, Electrical Safety and other standards as required for the product and destination markets.

As for virtually all electronic products, most components for your product will be sourced from Asia. Avant Technik has a network of high quality, reliable suppliers, some of whom we have dealt with for over 20 years. All production, testing, and packaging is done in our Australian workshop. Whilst we aim to keep your costs down, our ultimate goal is high quality and maximum reliability. We treat your products as our own, because your success builds our success.
Our customers even have the option for us to stock their products in our warehouse where we may arrange shipping direct to their customers in Australia or around the world as needed. This frees up your valuable time to focus on the important task of building your business. With Avant Technik, your products are in safe, capable hands.

Good product design is about attractive packaging, an all inclusive instruction manual, and any support documentation that you might need. Avant Technik can help with all of these finishing touches for your products to provide you with a holistic product service for your customers.
Our electronic repair section is second to none, with our service goal being 24 turn-around for any products sent to us for repair. Avant Technik only services products that we manufacture ourselves, allowing us to focus on providing your customers with an exceptional after sales service experience. We go above and beyond in our service to your customers providing advice for unexpected external components the customer might add to your product that affect performance. Another advantage of this service arrangement is that we are able to utilise these statistics to help improve the product design.
